Questions
Will I lose my files?
Not if it can be avoided. Before any reset or major fix, your important files are backed up first, and you'll know the plan before anything is erased.
Is it worth fixing an old computer?
Sometimes. I'll tell you honestly whether a tune-up will help or whether replacing it makes more sense.
Why reset a device before selling it?
Deleting files isn't enough. A proper reset removes your accounts and data so the next owner can't get to them.
